JIMMY McGLOTHLIN
I'll never forget that day our Son Mike came home from school, and told us about the "new friend" he met, that played guitar. Mike was so excited, he could barely contain himself. It was his first and only year at Tavares High, and he did not know very many students there. He invited his new friend "Jimmy" out to jam with us. We had recently resurected FOOTLOOSE, after a 5 year hiatis, and we were looking for a new bass player. Mike Hanley, along with Mike Hartman, and I, were glad to have found a possible candidate to play "bass". We had no idea what was in store for us!
Jimmy came to the session that day, and absolutely blew us away with his talent. He told us he had begun playing at age 6, and studied under Matt Baynes, at Music Central, in Leesburg. (Incidently, our friend Jason Tyre from RESIN-8 was also a Matt Baynes student). Jimmy had never performed "professionally" before, and was excited to join with a working band. We were soon in the studio cutting a 3 song demo. The several years that followed became a blur, with Jimmy assuming the role of lead guitarist and vocalist, along with Carl Garnsey playing bass, and we played shows all over Central Florida. Jimmy quickly became a local Legend, along with Mike Hanley on drums, and we all had some great times together. Ah- sweet memories!
Tiring of the "bar scene", dealing with all the smoke, the drunks, and too many sleepless nights, Footloose disbanded in 2000, and we went our seperate ways. The Hanley's moved to Pensacola for Kevin's work, and Mike soon followed. (That's where we founded TREMORS-1!). Jimmy joined a band called BIG MOTHER THRUSTER, and soon became the Star of the show. The band was signed by Maverick Records, and they performed at many venues as a showcase touring act. After BMT, Jimmy assumed the duties of centerstage for the band called MERCY DRIVE. Playing all over Florida and the Greater Orlando area, the band soon became a household word. The Legend continues.....
Jimmy recorded a 3 song demo of his original works, and it is absolutely amazing! He gave me a copy 2 weeks ago, and I have been wearing it out! This incredible young man is the most talented Artist I have ever had the pleasure to have worked with. I've shared the stage with Legendary Greats like Hammond Organist Billy Burke, Jaco Pastorius, and Marsha Scott, all of the "Mike Vetro Show" fame, but I have never worked with a more talented and amiable person than Jimmy. No "big head" attitude with this young man, he is strictly a Class Act from the word "go". Jimmy is a pure professional when it comes to music, yet he has retained the down home, humble, small town attitude that indears him to everyone. It has a lot to do, I'm sure, with his parents, Chris and Louis McGlothlin. These wonderful folks have instilled pure respect and love in Jimmy, and are a real credit to Parenthood. I cannot recall a time when either Chris or Louie would not drop whatever they were doing to help others, or support Jimmy's music. The McGlothlin Family are treasured and highly valued friends, and our lives have been so enriched by our close relationship. It's just a matter of time before Jimmy becomes "Famous", but to the Hanley's, he will always remain a dear and trusted friend. He is like a second Son!
Bring your Ax Jimi - we're always ready to Jam!
With Love and much respect! Kevin & the Gang

Greetings,
Several weeks ago, we had the pleasure of hosting a show featuring BIG GUN. Knoxville, Tennessee's own AC/DC Tribute Band. Prior to booking the show, we were very impressed by the demo CD and press pack they provided. However, we were certainly not prepared for the true impact of their live performance. These gentlemen stormed the stage with a vengeance, and relentlessly assaulted our senses with note for note covers of the Super group's hottest tunes. Complete with cannons, "Hell's Bell", and spitin' image stage antics of lead guitarist Brian Moore, these five guys know how to please a crowd.
Our audience was mesmerized as these pros hammered out one hit after another, barely allowing the audience to catch their breath between songs. "Hotter than a two dollar pistol" would be an understatement. And, after a solid two hour set, they closed with "For Those About To Rock, We Salute You", complete with a twenty one gun salute. Talk about leaving a crowd screaming and exhausted! BIG GUN is absolutely Awesome!
We look forward with great anticipation to their next visit, and highly recommend them, without reservation. Truly, Gentlemen and Professionals all.
Please feel free to contact us for further information.
